I have high cholesterol for more than 10 years and was in the care of the doctor. Because my family has a history of heart failure, I am taking a 40 mg drug to reduce cholesterol along with diet and exercise for 4 years. In September 2014, I talked to the doctor and tried to stop the medication.

My blood test in December 2014, showed increased cholesterol up to 321, LDL is 231, (normal value should not exceed 130). Doctor reduced my drug to 10 mg.
